The Base Company

The Base Company makes custom metal and wood art stands for antiques, artifacts and sculpture, from African, Folk, Americana, Primitive, Industrial, Decorative, and Fine Arts to Found Objects. All bases are hand-crafted to unique specifications. We offer a variety of metal and wood bases with an assortment of finishes to meet all tastes.

Founded in 1965 by Peter Sinclair, Zoë Bissell has been the sole proprietor since his retirement in 2006.
